CSL time was driven at slighty moisture track with those R-tyres, so yes, it was the tyres.

It's actually marked (Wet) in the Top Gear's tracklist.

Actually Ben allow me to tell you , that there`s a HUGE difference between Pirelli P-Zero Corsa , as used by CS and the Bstone used by F430.

P-Zero Corsa are super sticky tyres , almost racing tyres , you distroy them quickly but you have for a short time super grip.

Yes but I was comparing the F430 to the Ford GT. What tires was the Ford using? I would guess regular HiPo summer tires and not R compounds. Even if it was sporting R compounds, it still got an entire second on the F430! and if it DIDN'T have R tires then:bigeyes:! Which, I think calls for some credit due, where credit's earned!:bigeyes:
