Daddy, I know it's late, and my friends and I decided that the V10 on the new M5 was not 'green' enough. So...hmm...you know...we like...hmm...wrapped it around a tree.

"The story is that the company that sold the car let the magazine media borrowed the car for test drive to write their article, but appearantly the media test drivers are bunch of morons that rolled the car many times before it comes to a stop on a tree on the center island."

"The accident happened just few days after it past Taiwanese car inspection. so at the time when accident happened, the car only has temporary testing license plate, and has no insurance on the car.(Taiwanese car insurance is on car, rather than driver like North America).and the accident happened during a magazine road test against E55 AMG."

"The magazine that's responsible for this on the other hand, will have to pay for the car, which worth a bit more than 200k USD. since there car didn't have insurance yet at the time of the accident."

Now that shows again that there are still people, which do not have any kind of driving skill and nevertheless want to show what mad chaps they are!
That is sooooooooooo embarrassing!!!

No car is immortal, but you can buy new ones. I hope the persons in the car made it safe.

f**** the passengers...if they are too stupid to drive a car carefully enough to prevent such things not to happen then itīs their own fault!
i donīt care if they made it save out of the car though the car took all the damage so the passengers donīt get hurt!
itīs just a shame to DESTROY such a car!
not because the owner would be angry because the cars are all insured so nobody cares about but the m5 as car is such a beauty so it hurts me and some other people just by looking at the pictures! i would have defenitly threaten it different!

If I throw away a good toaster, will you be mad at me as well? A car IS a glorified toaster after all. We as enthusiasts tend to forget that, but in the end, it is metal, plastic, rubber, glass and wires. It is not life.

Also, for all we know some drunk driver could have pulled out in front of them, or anything. Yes, they might have been driving like dumb butts, but we don't know for sure since we weren't there, and don't know if something beyond their control happened to cause the crash. A man who recently died while driving a Carrera GT at a CLOSED track event proved that.

I'm not trying to lecture, just remember, it IS just a car, albeit, a great one...
