Q: Which is the most Northerly State in the US?
A: Alaska
Q: Which is the most Westerly State in the US?
A: Alaska
Q: Which is the most Easterly State in the US?
A: Alaska
Q: Which is the most Southerly State in the US?
A: Hawai

All of them in the Pacific.
How is this? Well the Aleutian Chain crosses over 180 W so the ones furthest away from the American land mass are actually East of the prime meridian, not West like everywhere else.
