Someone in Holland spotted an rs4 for shipment. Now you can see the difference. Not the cool steering wheel, v8 logo under side blinkers.

I don't think that it a US spec car? Look at the front tag brtk and the rear trunk for the tag, the tag space would be smaller for US car.

I wasn't sure about the V8 emblems but I just checked my parts catalog(EKTA) and they do show a V8 emblem on a '06 A4/S4/RS4
Oh yeah buy the way I work for an Audi dealership in Maryland, USA.

Nice that we get to se a close up on the rotors, the hub sems to be RS6 as well as rotor and caliper. As i said befor.
I find it wery hard to se that Audi have changed anything on the in side ventilation of the rotor. You cant see it on this pic ofcourse and i have no exray gogels, but i belive its bone stock RS6 brakes.

So there we have it, RS6 beakes are not poor construction or design. If they were it would be known for AUDI and they would not put them on Gallardo and RS4. Even these car are lighter.

Ohh by the way nice pics. But for the guys over the pond, it sucks if you dont get the Gallardo steering weel. But i guess you by this time is used not to have the nice things, as real seats and Avant cars:D

Chevy Chase RS6 here, 96a4. I could be buying an RS4 from you! What dealer do you work for?

I definitely think that's a U.S. version. There's no V8 emblem on the A4 (ha) or S4, according to the pics on audiusa.com. Putting a V8 on all RS4s seems too distasteful for Europeans, but to Americans "V8" is synonomous with "fast" and "powerful." But 96a4 is right about the licence plate space, which is small on the the only other U.S. RS, the RS6, and of course larger on the Euro models. The license plate space is small on the S4, too.

Dang it! Why do you have to rub it in?!?:D

No, that DOES suck. There is NO reason our government should be stopping Audi from giving us the cool wheel. I guess I could buy their excuse about the seats being "unsafe" , but the steering wheel too?!?

If I was to buy one, that would be the FIRST part I'd order from Germany and have it shipped over!

I work at Criswell Audi in Annapolis. In my catalog the A4/S4/RS4 are in the same spot you just to look for the differences in them.

I wish there were pics of the seats. You could see deviating piping on one of the seats in the pics. That'll be fine by me.

S4 and RS4 will have the same seats just saying RS4 in them.

With those plates they could be shipping it for last minute desert testing since those are Arizona plates...

Unfortunately the Audi/VW Test Center that is located here in Tampa Florida has been closed down and moved elsewhere to a place that I don't know :-( I'll miss seeing the prototypes running around before hitting the Euro and US markets...

:bigeyes:WOW...a yellow test mule... They definitely want some publicity before the car officially comes. Or is it because yellow blends in better in the desert?

Good to see a front end without annoying amber markers. Keep it like this!

Ben as you said its new change of hub and ventilation on the RS4. The hub is race attached, inside went i dident see.
Sweept area seems to be same. As well as back sems to be same pindesign as RS6

I did see on at the ring. And waited for the driver to ask for a lap, he dident show:boring:

The close up of rotor above is from the rear thats, why i assumed it was stock RS6, took it for a front rotor

Well now we know
