I'd LOVE to go, but those dates are bad for me:cry:

I'm out of town the beginning of July and by then end of July the weather is too hot for RS 6 tracking (did it once, not likely to do it again) as the Beast goes into "limp" mode. If another comes up later in the year when its cooler, count me in!:thumb:

I think I'm going to make it, but I don't know if the RS6 will be with me. The 996TT I'll drive for sure, but the RS6 will only go if the wife will drive separately...

Which days are getting the most interest...I will need to check my calander, but I think the 1st is ok for me...I pretty sure my wife has planned a trup at the end of July.....also....would it be OK if I bring both cars as my wife tracks her S8 but I think the RS6 would be better matched out there.....she is an execellent driver and will be going to ACNA instructor school with me in Fernley in June.

So I would be in the S4 and she would be in the RS6 if that is ok. Thanks for thinking of us:thumb: :D

I'm trying to get the evoms.com gang to come out and I'll be talking to Garrett/Andrew as well tomorrow and see if we can't arrange some kind of discount for "Flashing" etc... I'll have my Flash units at the ready. Just did an RS6 at the shop and man what a difference. The guy was into get a SuperCharger for his 996 but left with a faster/chipped RS6 lol...

I almost bought one but got the wife an XJR instead. Dangit.

Good Day - hope you all have your brakes bled and extra air in your tires...July 1st is about to happen! The guys at Devek will be happy to do a last minute check over on your trusty steed - check them out at www.devek.net. Hooked on Driving will be coordinating the event - and here's what to expect - if you have a trailer to unload, best be there when they open at 7:00am. Otherwise, sometime between 7:15 and 7:45am will do. If you haven't teched your car yet, you can go to our website, click on pit stops and you'll find a tech sheet to download and bring with you. Tech is up to you, and again Devek will help if you have any questions or concerns. You'll first sign in at the Buttonwillow office and get your wristband proving that you've signed the waiver. Then drop your car, and go to the main building where you will be given your packet for the day - lunch tickets, schedules, etc.... Then, as we are able, 40mph recon laps at 8:00am. This is very helpful, and its no helmets - and SLOW - just to get a visual on the course we're running (race 1 clockwise). Driver's meeting is at 8:30am - come to the meeting with your car ready. Group C, the advanced group will be released early and hit the track at 9:00am, with B, and A following in doing 20+ minute sessions. Lunch will be at noon, and will be hot and is hosted by Carlsen Porsche (Thanks Brian!). We'll have water - but we cannot promise that we'll have enough room to bring enough - so please bring some of your own. A personal gallon jug is a good idea. Don't forget that we require SA helmets - let us know if you need to know where to get one. We do not require long pants or shirts, but do require closed toe shoes. Use your best judgment here based on what you're driving. We'll have a professional photographer on site - he's making the trip so we hope you patronize his work. And lastly, strap it on for one of the best days you've ever had. We'll have a safe, super fun day with driving tips for those who are interested. And yes, there is room in each run group for folks to register late or arrive, pay with check or cash and drive. We'll see you at the track!!
