I'm not a fan of the 996 design, but I have nothing against the turbo(one of my dreamcars is the 993 turbo S).
And that s4 is so beautifull. It's really a pitty that they didn't make a rs4 of the b6. The nicest a4 ever made.
I'm really jealous now.

Thanks!
Don't be jealous.. Get creative!:)

mr:
"why not just an RS6 Avant"
Simple! The RS6 is a great car, but it's not a S4, not a 996 Turbo and definitely not both of them..
The difference between the RS6 and the Turbo is quite obvious. Around "the green hell" in 8.20 min or 7.56 min..
0-200 Km/h in 18,7 s or 14,6 s..

RS4Ever:
Thanks! :p

Rrrrr...:
"nicely organized site"
Could be better..
I'll get on to it the moment I get bored driving my cars.. :hihi:

Bauer:
"0 kilometers on the clock"
Yes, I'm really sorry about that...  :360:

Erik:
"when are you going to tune the Turbo?"
Hmmm... Don't get me started! :hahahehe: :hahahehe:
The truth is that Anders is working on it...and another truth is that I haven't decided what to do yet..

I don't know if you know it, but Hohenester in Germany has got all the development work for one of the biggerst Porschetuners in Germany... So now a days Jürgen & Co hardly have time to do any developing for Audi and other VAG-brands.

Now you know why I'm waiting.. :0:

Hi McBurn,

Stunning pictures man !!! The first pictures that I have seen from you were the ones about your S4. One of my favourite pictures are the ones with the fishing boat and the big lake at the background and the one with the big propellor.

I'm always interested to know with which type of camera these pictures have been taken with.

Keep up the good work and enjoy driving those fabulous machines:incar: :0:

Cheers

Thanks! Appreciate it! Always nice to hear... :360:
These pictures where taken with a Canon EOS 20D and either a Canon EF 16-35/2,8 L USM or a Canon EF 24-70/2,8 L USM.

damn man.... THAT'S TWO AWSOME CAR'S!

Extremely good looking, and a better combination than an S4 and a 996 Porsche Turbo is hard to find!

Euh I would say the S4 (or RS4) and the Lamborghini Gallardo is even better!

Those 19" rims on the S4 look really nice, but in what way does it affect the comfort of the car? (Is there any?)

Funny you should mention it!
The Gallardo was just about the only car that made me hesitate when I bought the 996 Turbo. The reason why I didn't go for the Gallardo is mostly the price and the fact that I have almost 600 km to the dealer/service. Afterwards I've also been considering the new F430...the money is almost the same, and the dealer is much closer to me.. ;)

The rims on the S4:
The comfort is almost the same with 235/35 x 19 as with the original 235/40 x 18. Maybe the ride is a little bit harder...but less than I expected.
