Found out about this event a couple of weeks ago:

http://www.rally-europe.co.uk/

Now they've released their routeplan... :hihi:
They're planing to drop by Sweden & Denmark. Good luck I say - good luck! :bang:
Swedish and danish police has created a "non-gumball/cannonball" law...
This will result in the fact that Rally-Europe and their participaitors will be facing trail if they pass throught Sweden or Denmark.
Oups! :p

Well, at least they don't pass trough norway, where you can be thrown in jail for speeding w/o a trial!

From their rules:

Please note that ANYONE caught racing on the public roads in any country on route, will be excluded from further participation in the event immediately. No refunds will be made.

Also they say, that there will be overall winner. So if racing is not allowed, who's the winner ? Or is this "no racing" rule just BS ?

I would participate on such event like One Lap (http://www.onelapofamerica.com/) in US, but it seems like there isn't any here in Europe.

the winner is the team that finishes the event closest to the average set speed - which is linked to the maximum speed limits on all the roads taken.

Anyone here up for it or scared the mini coopers and BMW's might be quicker? :p
