If I was AMGeneral, the orginal maker of the Hmmwv in which the "H2" was derived, I would have the name pulled off of that truck so fast after seeing that video. That is a shame and disgrace to the tough name of that vehicle. I can not stand those vehicles for that reason alone. Sorry for that rant!!! :w:

H2's are womens toys
If your going to get a hummer get one like mine and truley
have a off road BEAST !
There is no substitute for a H1 anything else is a 2nd.
deisel all the way just wish more american dealers would make deisel cars IMO.

Actualy it came from canada via out west near North dakota to here.
I bought it off a builder who got it from a guy who owed him money for building his house :)
so the story ends.
Funny thing there are alot of them coming up for sale here lately and all about the same price for a 1997 hummer so get the auto trader or there website and search zip 30318 or within 75 miles of it cause there ven cheaper for that year now like under or around 30 to 35k from what I have seen.

shout out to fulton county from dekalb county.

i'll agree with you.. H1 is the way to go.. if you are going to do stuff like that.

i always looked at the h2's as more for the streets. all that "chrome" and "fancy" stuff.

that is one hell of an "alignment" he's got to do there.

what im concerned about is how he got out of there.
what a loooong story probably.

 now you got my brother and I on the look-out for your Avus and H1

im really looking forward for quattro....:hihi: .. kidding about doing this kind of stuff with a sedan.

my jeep has that quadra-crap drive system. a good way to know what wheels get the power is to get stuck in the mud  (i didnt have a cam at the time).. but my right front and left rear get power in my "4x4" system.

every thing is stock on my jeep.. no actual rock climbing modifications

this pic is from nov,2004.

what the help... ill just add some more pics following this one...

here is another...

the explorer on the left belongs to my brother and the trooper to a friend of mine who also tagged along.

they are only 2wd but had a lot of fun.

this is the whole place.. pic is from a cliff (starting point/entrance)

the place is right off of Jones Mill Road ... really close to where i live. its the only place i can think of without going north of atlanta to tickle the shock absorbers.

there are areas in this place that we never attempted since we arent that experienced (if not at all) and our equipment is limited to its minor capabilites.

the red circle shows where brother and friend were...

the place also has some nice trails ....

check out these groves... clearance- really important here...

this is the last one.. from when i was there in june '04

i think dirt bikers have more of a blast there than jeeps/suvs.

the whole place is pretty neat since its not far and it consists of different surfaces such as gravel/larger aggregate, grassy areas and of course Georgia Clay... its by these apartment complexes and i think its unbuildable area.. . im pretty sure the whole tract of land is a GA power utility easement.

Choppo,
i bet it wouldnt even tickle your H1 but if youd like to go just PM me and ill give you more info.

You who said that you can't afford an H1 because of the fuel price. To give you some perspective the fuel here can cost as much as 1,51$ :( Therefore I think many people in the U.S. should say they can't afford it because of the base price, insurance and taxes. Here if you wan't a car but don't buy it, the most common reason is that you just can't afford the fuel. The H2 just isn't for terrain use.
