a4 or a6?

Hey,

Can i get your thoughts on this? Im a 21 year old college student (who cannot afford to pay the insurance premium on an s4) who has been given the choice between and a4 and an a6 (both 2.8L, 2001 with 40k miles on both). They both cost the same, but I cannot decide. Any thoughts?

some questions that might help...

do you usually find yourself hauling your friends with you in your car... if so, you might want something more roomy, take the A6.

of course both engines are the same, however the 2 cars are different. are you ever going to consider tuning anyone one of which you shall choose, and if so which has more tuning potential, if at all.

both having the same engine however the A4 having less weight overall.

is safety a main factor for you, find out which is safer. airbags, braking feet.. etc.

are they both quattro?

which is more comfortable for you when you drive? the seats the view..etc.

which eats more gas (i assume the A6)? if thats important to you.

which do you prefer, auto or manual (if this A4 is a manual of course)

which is known to have more problems.. more attention. more maintenance?
