the throttle during downshifts? I have heard this is on some models from the factory now, and I was wondering if anyone knows of a program that does this for the RS6.. or even if its do-able?

Are you talking about rev-matching on the RS6? Software has been developed for this, just on other cars.

Yes. Similar to a double declutch.. Blip as in momentarily giving it gas to better match the engine revs for the downshifted gear selected. You can do it manually now of course, but there is talk of the newer ZF's and DSG boxes having this feature built in to the software that does it for you... It would be a nice addition if they would provide an update for our trannys or if an aftermarket chipper decides to do it..
Just checkin..
