Well, yes and no...:revs:
There are some distinctive differences and more Jag like flowing lines.
The shape is a classic 1965-1973 Mustang fastback ancestor:thumb:

having personally seen it in times square i can say that it does not look like a mustang at all.. it looks more like an old cobra coupe.. at first glance i confused it with the new cobra ar-1..
btw here are my pics of it..

I don't mean that it looks like a Mustang:vgrumpy:
My point being that it has the same basic architecture. I.e long hood, low roofline, pronounced hip and a fastback roofline.
My observation doesn't mean anything more than for instance saying that a 2005 4 door saloon still is based on the same design principles as a 1960'ies 4 door saloon(hood, 4 doors, bonnet).
I was merely trying to state that it is a beautifull car in the long running tradition of sweeping, low slung fastbacks(as the Mustang also was(and is)).

Not bad looking but honestly I prefer the shape of the current coupe. Don't see many -- the convertible is much more common -- but the current coupe is very sleek looking. This appears to be a slightly bloated version of that car.
