Why does he brake and touch the accelerator at the same time? What is the effect on that? Can someone explain that? Thanks

is it to keep the engine on a high number of revolutions?

your right.. its to keep the revolutions up.
yes .. its called "heal and toe" when you use one foot to do it.
used a lot in rallys for entering and exiting corners.

if you ever see a clip of what the feet of a rally driver :incar: do.. you will be amazed:bigeyes: . it looks like they breakdance down there. They are faster than tap-dancers.
