How many of you have tried your car's top speed?
What is your top speed record?

I did 245 km/h + in my fully loaded (with beer), stock old Toyota Supra 3.0i on the Autobahn.
315 km/h was no problem in this RS6 500 hp. Not the best cruising speed perhaps.
The car started to feel a bit light, no wonder when Jumbojets take of a around 270 km/h. :lovl:
On Autobahn I think 200 km/h is ok when travelling long distances.

Highest speed was 290+ but the highest speed pictured is this 280 kmh.

120mph, '87 5000S, thats the highest the speedo went... i may have been goin a little more maybe 123 or something..

mine is 210 km/h in my ex '99 honda accord 3.0 on a curvy autobahn. I could go more if the stupid passat driver didn't get in front of me. :vgrumpy:

top speed tests are fun...
I've driven a Fiat Uno 1.1ie to 155km/h in Sweden which was a helluva lot more fun than when i was in a Porsche 911 Turbo modded with RUF, Gemballa and Techart (i think) doing 312km/h on the autobahn... :hahahehe:
and the scariest was on my lawnmower tractor thingy where i've had it doing 50km/h. note: this was in neutral going downhill... scary as hell and is not advised... :MTM:
quickest i've ever been was on a hayabusa doing 315km/h... :trash:

My record according to speedometer on my RS6 was 310 km/h.
Official max,but all speedo's lack accuracy at high speeds so real speed should be just under 300km/h I think.

finally put summer rubber on and (shamefuly) did little over 300 this afternoon - 303-304 km/h (speedo, no gps) .... rs6+ :thumb:
actually + does not have any slack up there, engine just pulls like there is no tomorrow even at that speed ......
previous 291 km/hr (gps) stock rs6 avant :D

I just did a little over 185km/h in my Ford Fiesta 1.3 :D

I drove about 12 miles in my moms car( vw polo 1.4 16V ) with my dad in the passengers seat
and before that I drove around 80 kph on my dad's 25 year old honda 550 supersport. :dance:

My Merc S 65 AMG L did 345 Km/h without electronical limiter on the German Autobahn! Try to beat that in a car longer than 5.5 m meters and a weight of more than 2.200 tons ;)

hello,
my max-speed in rs6 was little more then 320km/h on speedo. 314km/h on gps. so the difference is not real high i think!
i hope to beat 325km/h in real this year with more mods.
the best photo was with my handy with 320km/h.
with m3-e46: little less then 300km/h
with mv agusta f4 1000: on speedo 315km/h
...

I reached about 195 km/h in my small VW Lupo with 75 PS... was lot of fun, but I would never go faster with such a small car!!!!
