I have three options.

1 - White
2 - Silver
3 - Avus silver

The car will have black rails, s-line and OpenSky (=roof is 'black'.)

(Copied this thread from the Sportsback forum to get more feedback, thanks!)

I voted Avus. More special than regular Silver (an S and RS color) and stays clean looking longer than white (which I would think comes in handy in Sweden in winter time:) )

I`d take black because you said you`ll have the Opensky..

http://www.germancarfans.com/news/2041217.007/2041217.007.1M.jpg

which will fit to black very well..

otherwise IŽd go for Avus Silver :)

nice car nevertheless :0:

This is how I'm thinking

White = A bit odd but => Racing, and goes well with black roof and trim. I can get a few more options with the car for the same price.

Silver = Silver always works, but 40% of all cars are already silver

Avus Silver = More sophisticated color ("pearl"). RS color

Kinda thought it was the A3.

Was reading about it last night in Audi Mag for a few months ago.

What's with the 3.2 liter 250 hp engine?? Sounds FAST.....and Fun....

Good replacement for the RS6 in three years........first and only big bucks car for me LOL....

Mike

Silver sounds great for that car, but it does look good in a dark color.

IS that one Datona Grey???? Nice Color LOL..

The only RS colors available are AVUS and MISANO RED.

It could be Dolphin Grey.

I'd pick the Black. After have seen almost all those colours in reality i thought the black one was absolutely the nicest!
Little bit OT: But wich engine are you up to? I got a ride in the 3.2 ltr V6, awsome engine with good power and a nice sound!

Erik Imagin a white whit black trim and nice black rims at the beloved Norther Loop:king:

But I agree siver is a easy colur and hard as well. A silver car always look god and clean even if its not. And its hard to see scratches and stainslag on a sliver car.

Go for white

:hihi:

read the whole article.. silver might not be the future customer color...

"But other experts believe silver could be losing its appeal."

Next up? Many auto makers are having good luck with shades that incorporate silver with a little bit of color -- ice blues, celery greens, and even warmer, golden-toned hues.

That's a little odd. You'd think they'd have a A3 spec'd like yours already made?:vhmmm:

It's not like you ordered the RS 3!:D

Ben, not sure about Sweeden but in general dealers here do not stock - by far - that many cars as in US.

Likelyhood that you will find exactly want you want on dealers lot is, unless you look for plain Jane model, rather low.

Some of the options do not sell too well therefore dealers don't order. I was looking for a go car for my wife and there was not a singel Audi dealer within 200 miles who would have tiptronic model in stock at that time ......

What I meant was that you would think that Audi would have made a spec'd car (Avus with options Erik wants) that meets his requirements and is at the factory or on route somewhere. The pic that Erik showed with all the flooded VWs and Audis was my point. Somewhere there are MANY A3s just sitting around, and out of all of them you'd think that at least one would be the color and have the options that Erik wanted. Oh well... till April it is!:0:

well, when you try to get a specific car which is in another country or en route to some other place you get a typical excuses related to country markets, different VAT, blah blah blah .... it is royal PIA to do a simple swap dealers in US do on daily basis .....
