Just a loaner for the month,until my wife gets her FS so I can use her G55.(and of course still waiting for 599 in Decenber)
And yes,it's pretty powerful.

Ben, that MV is serious machine, i love R, but MV has some ''ferrari blood-line'' in it, and its some three time price...

The way I see it, the MV is like a Ferrari, R1=Porsche. Same performance, way less $$$. Only thing Ferrari can say is it looks and sounds better. Since Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I'd hardly pay almost double for just "sound"...
Last I checked, your avatar was a Porsche, so I'm thinking you see my point.;) :D And furthermore, in real racing, Italian bikes get their clocks cleaned by the Jap ones, just like Ferraris get their clocks cleaned by Porsches in Le Mans. :D
