This is suspect, but...

I just got a link to this off the AudiWorld site. Would love for someone to verify its existence
as indeed being an RS6. If it's true and in veritable good shape, I'd like to purchase the car
and have it worked on (modded) before shipping it here to the States. At least, it appears to be in Europe, given the photo...Can anyone help me out? I am going to do some homework also...
The only phone number given is 123-000-0123, and no location. Check the link:

P.S. Someone said the tags were German and registered in Kassell(sp.?)

Thanks,
Fru-T

Those are red reseller plates that can be used for any car. They're not bound to one car so you can't really tell from the plate (via car admissions) if it's really an RS6.

KS is the abbrevation for the city of Kassel though, so that's correct.

Because the taxes are so high in Swededn, the base price of the car is subsidised by Audi AG. This 'low' price will be an export price, however, by the time it has been inspected, modified and exported by somebody who knows how to process it it won't look so cheap. remember too, the green back is at an historical low against the Euro, so the quoted price is almost certainly obsolete.

PS Now if you want me to find you one that will stop and run all day and stand up to your swiss cheese roads, i hope you have had a good month on Wall Street!

Hey :vvangry: we do have high tax here in Sweden, but not on cars.

Try Denmark, Norway and Finland if you want to see some real interesting figures on how to make a car expensive.

At least we still make some cars around here Volvo and Saab.
They make a few Boxsters in Finland I believe but that doesn't seem to help.

My Audi was less expensive in Sweden than list Germany.

Ex. tax usually Denmark is good, for the reasons explained by Robin. I think the RS6 is about 200.000 incl. tax in Denmark...
