It's done up beautifully and looks sweet in person. Feels like it has the pull of a stock 996 Turbo, but probably pulls a bit more. The car was recently purchased by a buddy here in the SF Bay Area from the original owner. He's continuing to work on the car and tune it to its full potential. I'll send him the link so he can join up and post here. :thumb:

I've ALWAYS had a thing for RS 4 conversions:heart: I know they're pricey, ($8K-$10K for body conversion alone!) but they look SO cool when done right (like this one:0: ). Something you don't see every day on the freeway, that's for sure!

As for those seats, they look exactly like the ones that achtuning offers through their new company that makes just seats. Am I seeing things?

That car was featured in the last European Car. I really like the RS4 conversion and have considered it for my S4.

These pics seem better then the ones in European Car.....the hood paint appeared to not match the front fenders. These look MUCH better, don't know if it was a lighting issue in the mag.

Hey Ben if you want to do my car for 8k to 10k...give me a call...that seems like a pretty fair price...I have heard to do it right it would be upwards of 15k....just what I have heard...you would know better than I.

I like the seats just wish they wern't
logo'd.

Ben those are the seats offered by Achtuning.....Josh is a partner in the new seat company.

Overall, a VERY good looking car....nice purchase. I wonder what the premium was on it? Would give me an idea about how much $$$ I am really wasting.

Cheers,

Hello Bauer,

Can't help you with the conversion as we specialize in collision repair and are currenty burried with work. Josh could probably recommend someone that's done one or two close to you.

As for the seats, I thought they looked familiar. I'd give him a call to see if they have them available without the logo. Carbon with Alcantara looks the Shiznizzle! (sorry to let the giggy out:D )

So if I crash my car you can help me out........kidding of course.

I am going to the South Bay to talk with a shop about putting my RS4 bumper on and pulling the fenders. Also to do some fabrication so that the front bumper does not have to be molded. I would rather bring the fenders to the bumper then the other way around. If the pulling costs too much I may just go the RS4 converson route....who knows???

Thanks for the compliments on the photos I posted. I recently offered my services for creative photoshoots and poster design to locals in the bay area in return for any friendly resume referrals. I was pondering this idea and thought it may be mutually beneficial to other fellow car enthusiasts as well as help me in my search for post-graduation job offers. I enjoy doing this as a hobby and thought it would be a great way to network.

Anyways, I will pass on the compliments to the cars owner as well.
