Hi:

Recently, going over bumps, there are some rattling/squeeking noises coming from the B-pillar on the drivers side. I've already lubed all the door seals but to no avail.

Any one have a similar problem and a fix? Any help is appreciated.

TIA

there have been posts about noise from the cell phone speaker which is in the b piller at about shoulders height...or so..

Rattles and squeeks are a pain, especially in an $85,000 car...oh well...

I had such a bad noise in my head liner of my 2000 A6 that I was trying to give the car back! I found a simple solution, to add a small piece of sponge between the head liner and the frame of the roof, by accessing this space via the vanity light behind the driver's side visor, that worked great!

Good luck with that one, I am about to dissect my drivers side seat to find the lub point mentioned on the other thread..

We together will find and kill all rattles, squeaks and growns..... :)

Thanks for the advice. Will tell dealer when I see them next week.

LOL. I had the same noise coming from the headliner in the RS6. Like you, I pulled out the light panel and stuffed the insides with paper towels. Worked like a charm.
