Man that is an awesome car! The 996 Turbo is right after the Gallardo in my top notch list. I've got a ride in the previous version (from 1997) witch was modified to 450HP and it was just unbelievable  I mean, the guy was doing about 40Km/h in third and then he slammed to second and in about 3-4seconds (i was holding myself from the sunroof witch was open :D) i looked at the speedo and we were doing 160 Km/h. That was just unbelievable (too me)!

Happy ownership!

Very nice. Always been a Turbo fan (no pun intended). Got a chance to ride in a well set up Turbo at Infineon Raceway. The car is unbelievable in what it can do at a race track. If you get the opportunity you'll enjoy it to no end at a track event!

Thanks to all of you!
Always nice to have that kind of respons...not that I hesitate on the deal, not at all...but nice anyway..
Right now it feels like I was born to buy this car.. :D

The downside is that I have to wait for about two weeks before I get it....two very long weeks, I guess..

At the company where I work we have a "mentor", Torsten, who is engaged by us to help all employees (from the CEO all the way down to the "floor") with there individual development (I hope that's the right way to translate it) (in swedish: personlig utveckling).

This man Torsten is not only good with people, his is also quite familiar with the "Nordschleife"...and through the years he has owned something around 10-15 different Porsches. Right now he drives a brand new 996 GT3.

Since there are many with the same interest as me at work there has been some talking about a companyrace at the Nordschleife, that Torsten should arrange...

What can I say? I love it!! :360: :360:
But I can't stop wondering what will happend when I overtake our CEO in his brand new Ford Mustang cabrio.. :wo: :wo:
I guess it safer to go hunting for our head of security. He drives Maserati Spyder 4200 Cambiocorsa F1.. ;)

Btw:
When Torsten doesn't drive GT3, he drives Audi S6..
