Can't wait for my first RS6 winter! The Beast is all ready with snow tires and an appetite for frosty air...

I put my snows on last Friday!

It's funny, with the snows the handling is as expected, not as good, but still far better than my wifes Maxima with summer tires on it LOL.....

Yeah, my first impressions are that these snows (Dunlop M3) handle quite well, and they are 225 width. They also are LESS noisy than the SP9000's (never thought I'd say that about a snow tire - I'll have to work extra hard on destroying the SP9000's next spring, so I can switch to decent summer tires!)

yep, I'm on the same boat .... noise is horrible, at higher speeds on concrete surface you don't hear anything but the damn tires ..

ya, on my A6 4.2 the tires got so noisy in the summer that I actually looked forward to putting the snow tires on!

I rotated them frequently to try to help the road noise...

It was a big problem with the Pirelli's, and I guess with the Dunlops too........

Never had any bad road noise issue with my Michelin Pilot sports on my M3 even after wearing the tread down to nothing on two sets LOL.....
