Had the chance to drive a E39 M5 for one day. Well, what can I say, the engine is strong and sound is from another world. The 8 cilinder growl is to die for, at least from outside, because from inside you canīt hear it very well

The TC was blinking every time I steped on the gas(tires were worn), so I had to turn it off, and than the fun began. You can power slide every corner and just by playing with throtle and steering you have lots of fun . Itīs amazing how much fun you can have with a sports family car. The way this engine delivers the power is to liner for my taste, the gears seem never to end, and kick on the back is not very present like in a turbo engine. The car is very fast, but you canīt feel all this power on your body while you driving every thing is calm and smooth. Cruising at 200Kph seemed more like 150Kph, and the safety net this car provides seems never to end. Some time ago I drove a RS4 and it was much more exciting, manely because of the turbo rush. It felt way more powerful than the M5. After delevering the BMW I drove home in my car, and even with muss less Hp, my car felt as fast as the M5, it gives me much more thrill, you can hear the engine, feel the road and chassi much more. Anyway it would be great to have both in the garage, Porsche for pure fun and M5 for everyday use, even so the RS4 would be even better for that :rs4addict
