The steering wheel is on the left side. But in Japan the have
left-hand traffic? Should be a right mounted steering-wheel if it isn't imported

Hello, guys. I have enjoyed this site much. ;)
Both left and right-side wheels are legal in Japan. All S and RS-series and a part A-series have left-side wheel.
The pics Erik showed are from one of private importers of Europian autos. Audi Japan also starts to accept order from Jan. 20. Prices are around $100,000 fully loaded.

Hello 4G and welcome! Nice to have a Japanese on-board.
We have the same car I see also, A6 2.7T.

A friend from Japan helped me with some of the translation but some of it was done through Babelfish.

Hang on - this is funny!

"Yes, it's Japanese homepage that shows "Pippi"'s report of RS-6.
(I don't know who is this "Pippi", but maybe just a private reporter) He reports mainly interior and exterior of RS-6 which is twin turbo tuned Audi S6. (I guess you know very much about this model) He said RS-6 is just imported into Japan as well and he saw it in one dealer. That's the reason why he made this report.

If you want to know about contents itself, you can see the translated file as attached. But I used web translation service to make this, so we can find quite many strange translation. But I think you can imagine what he wants to say even from that poor translation."

It went also into Japan!! :asian: :asian:

Mr. PIPPI could report RS-6 ABANTO (=Avant) imported at T auto-repair shop.

- All the chromium portions other than an emblem became silver.

- A front grill changes into a mesh type

- Change into an oval type with a thick muffler.

- The place which was the portion of the gray of RIA became the frame and mesh of the same color

which was saying and carrying out sound of the engine sound muffler although it was incidentally only an idling

- It is a 19 inches design with a setting at the option which is a 18 inches wheel. I think that liking is divided.

- The front of a brake is 8 pot carry par. 100KM to 2 seconds -- just for a moment -- coming out -- Seemingly, it will stop. :hihi:

- A suspension lowers 10mm of car quantities based on the thing of S6, and is a spring rate 30% It is said that UP is carried out.

- An engine cover is carbon.

- Although change does not have the interior structure itself, it is new on a sheet or a panel. The kind was added. A photograph is just with a panel called piano black. It is the portion of the main part of a piano itself.

- The sheet of a photograph is a KEBURA sheet in fresh color, and is rubber to a fabric. It is said that there is an effect which make it hard to give a point and to slide. RS6 mark is entered!

:bye:

Hi Erik,
Pippi sounds like handle-name or nick name. Japanese can make virtually any words with combination of letters, so sometimes they sound funny in English.

Your translation is beautiful; anyone can see it.
Just FYI: RIA = rear, KEBURA = Kevlar; picked up from only pronunciation.

Actually T-motor already deliverd several RS-6's, so I can see the reports of the owners. Audi japan has at least two RS-6's now in stock and accepting order. Usually Audi Japan sells only fully loaded ones for S and RS-cars, so our choice is limited to the interior and exterior colors.
