A person from Audiforum.nl has been asked to design the belt for the Audi TT 3.0TDI:eek:
Very weird... an A4 cab with this engine would be OK, but a TT with a 3.0TDI...:eye:

Here is the pdf file he got:

With the high marketshare of diesels in some countries in Europe it makes sense. Don't underestimate the diesels!

Skoda had an RS day recently here in Sweden. Loads of tuned Octavias sjowed up. The winner? Fabia RS (diesel) :looking:

Yeah but it's a heavy engine... and in pretty small car like a TT?:vhmmm: with all the weigt in front of the front-axle... We'll see, the torque will be great!:D

You'll be surprised as to how much they are able to reduce weight! Several litres does not necessarily mean weight anymore.

Personally, I think it's great that they're concepting so much with diesels, making them even more powerful. Only downside is that consumption doesn't seem to be as much of a priority anymore, which is sad - since that's pretty much the point of a diesel. That, and torque.
