Anyone know where I can get hold of the carbon trim for the centre console, ashtray, gear leaver surround and handbrake?

My car came with alluminium trim and all these parts are black plastic.

I noted this as well.

Even the RS6 Plus with au-trim has the same.

Looks a bit cheap, I agree.

One advice is to contact the dealer who should be able to order via quattro GmbH.

I know that CarbonLord on AW has changed his A6 trim to be the carbon fiber setup.

Send him an email at carbonlord@hotmail.com.
Keep in mind that he's in the USA. So, make sure to point out that you are from UK and that you already have an RS6, so no extra triming will be necessary. Maybe he can put you in contact with the correct parties.

If he does not answer, I'd try just going to AW A6 Forum and post the question there.

I did a search on the information on AW, but it seems he got it from eBay in Germany. It's possible he will have more info though.
Good luck.

Sorry, I'm late. I didnt catch the post until just now (as I rarely frequent this forum) but correct, I did source my complete set from an eBay Germany auction. I do not have a direct source but if it helps, the company which manufacturers the OEM trims is called Novem based out of Germany. Dealer price is way up there at $1500 a set so your best bet is to shop on eBay and perhaps search the marketplaces that AudiWorld and similar forums have available. You can always email me at carbonLORD@hotmail.com should yoou have any questions or require direction in sourcing parts. I'm here to help. Good luck.
