I had purchased a while back Supreme Power Parts Ultimate Tip Mod, and decided to give it a go this weekend.
I had an old shift knob lying around, and decided to get to work.

Needless to say, I went from picture 1, using picture 2, to end in picture 3. The end result was equal to some of the pictures shown on their website, but I still did not like how there was a bit of space showing between the end of the shift knob and the little brushed cylinder at the bottom. So I'm back to stock, but I figured I'd show this crazy stuff I try sometimes, so you folks can have a good laugh!

nene, you are the :king: of modifications.

It looks nice, but I could live without the Momo ring.

And, I'd rather use the paddles when in tip mode. :incar:

The Momo ring actually screws into the shift knob. In the last pix that was not done yet. I was still doing some adjusting.

the stock look is much neater.....

such a cosmetic change is not worth the risk of 'scratching something' while your doing it...

I agree that the stock look is best. That is why I put it back. When working with such proximity to anything that can get scratched, I always use a couple of old t-shirts or an fleece blanket that I usually get from the airlines!
