View Full Version : RS6 Sound everytime you start up your PC

I was sick of the Windows noise you get when you start up windows, so I made a soundfile of the RS6 that you can hear everytime when you start up your PC:D

Here are the steps to follow (Windows XP, don't know about others). My Windows is in Dutch... -> so some terms could be wrong , but I think you'll find it pretty easily ;)


http://users.pandora.be/avantus/RS6%20Start%20and%20shutdown.wav

-Download the file
-Go to configuration screen
-sounds and audiodevices
-chose "sounds"(the 2'nd) on the tabs above
-sroll till you get to starting windows (or something like that:))
-browse and select the RS6 file
-confirm, ok and now turn of your PC and enjoy the start of the beast:addict:

Interesting....the .wav file associated with your link will not play on my XP machine or my NT machine (US version). Invalid or corrupt file format. I tried several players too. :confused:

Hmm strange...maybe you could look at what soundtype you should use when you click browe.

.wav is indeed the correct file type but for some reason these 2 US machines can't play your .wav file. I also tried 3 different programs that can play .wav files. :confused:

Soo Nice...

Now i have to restart my computer several times, just to hear it... mmm, nice sound...

It could be very nice, if someone could make a sound to when shutting down, loging on and off...
