The fact that anyone even considers comparing these two is flattering.

Hey all:

Yup, I love my RS6 - as much as I do my 996TT.

Nowadays, I drive the RS6 more so than the 996. The 996TT is unbeatable for aggressive driving but other than this sole purpose, the 996TT is just so impractical.

RS6 performs close to 90% of the 996TT (on the street) but peforms so much better as a daily driver.

SL500 is awful in terms of a performance car. PERIOD.

Going to upgrade the GIAC transmission chip this Friday. Will report. If all goes well, I may do the ECU upgrade as well.

Indeed you´ve got a nice pair for daily use and agressive driving :) :)
But, from what I´ve heard from several TT owners, they all satted the TT to be a very acceptable car for daily use :eek:

That is surprising. The TT coupe has such limited visibility, and the convertible I drove was loose as a goose compared to the S2000, Boxster, or even the Corvette.

Oops -- my mistake, maybe. Y'all WERE discussing 996 TTs (Porsche?), and when I saw TT in a later post, I assumed it meant the Audi TT. J.Seven, it might help if you clarify which TT you meant, unless it's obvious to everyone of course. Sorry for the confusion.
