It's that time of year again with Pffaf Audi/VW dealership bringing in either the R8 or RS6 to show off before this weekend's ALMS/Speed race at Mosport here in Ontario, Canada. Last year Johnny Herbert appeared with this year the RS6 in the spot light and with Randy Pobst and Michael Galati.

One of the noticeable differences on this year's RS6 from last year's is the air intake... stock headlights must be used and therefore the air is sucked in through some scooping built into the hood and vents to help cool down the intercoolers. With the bigger tires they were able to use at the offest of lower boost early in the season, and now with all that reward weight, they're really back at square one.

Three Cadillacs will be running this weekend in the double header, with Ron Fellows (local from around Toronto also) from the Corvette team driving the third Cadillac. The Vipers should also be a big threat for both RS6 drivers, especially since the RS6 is no longer the fastest car on the straightaway and will have a difficult time holding back the rest of the field on the uphill straightaway at Mosport. Volvo from what Randy told us, will not be running this weekend.

Randy's a great guy, spent a lot of time listening to his stories and talking to him to learn a little bit more about him and his car.
