I have been using Lidatek for quite some time, but right now, it seems as if the Belltronic 904 is the better bet.

quick question, is ur headlight bi-xenon? or just low beam only?

I am/was part of a group buy over on M5board.com for the just released Lidatek Model LE-30. However, I have not yet installed the two units I purchased; so cannot relate experience. If you go to the Lidatek Group Buy thread on M5board.com there is a member who has installed his and has had an experience with a cop with laser. The tread is long so for his story go to the last page or two.
Reason for my purchasing the Lidatek (in addition to the savings from the group buy) is that I have a V-1 that will detect laser but by the time it does it means I am in the beam. So I was looking for something to give me a chance. (With the V-1 (and most good radar detectors) I get notice when radar is in use on other vehicles -- not so with laser). The Lidatek unit is supposed to jam for 5 seconds and then shut off so that the cop cannot really tell he/she has been jammed. With the Escort and Blinder units they do not shut down after jamming.

I know this isn't the correct place to post this. But if you are in need of a laugh, (and some instruction into how to escape lasers) then take a listen to this.
It's 30minutes long but definatly worth it imo. I was rolling around on the floor with laughter.:harass:

I won't spoil it for anybody else but JKN... I'm thinking of taking that guys advice on my little motor.... It might just work :hihi:
