Anyone directly compare the RS6 with an M5 (raced one, owned one, test drove, etc)

Interested to learn what you all thought about the driving differences - handling, power, etc.

I used to own an E39 M5, and considering a K04 kit for a A6 2.7T I currently own

What's your thoughts on the cars?

On a final note, how much quicker is the RS6 than the new S4?

Trying to get my dad to race me in his M5....LOL....perhaps next time I visit him.

My brother is definitely up to a race in his heavily modified Mustang Cobra, that car will probably beat the RS6.

If it's a straight line race and he gets a good launch, I ain't bettin' against him. Those things can be rockets. My problem with a car like that is that I would probably rip through two gears without moving. I have never been known for my launch ability and I've mis-shifted into 3rd at some inopportune times. Once was against a B5 S4 when I had my E39 540. "What the heck is an S4?" I thought at the time. Silly, ignorant me.
