Why would anybody want to stay in a high rise with a bunch of airline pilots? This is exactly what we don't need on holiday!

Just saw a program on the telly some days ago and it looked so awesome :0:

By the way my fathers brother is an aircaptian (SAS) and I dont think their budget is that high ;)

I heard somewhere that this is the only 6* hotel in the world. You can have a room in the sea and some rooms are covered with gold!!! :bigeyes:

Itīs the only 7* hotel in the world actually.

My uncle lived in dubai and oman a couple of years, heīs been inside the hotel :)


They drive you from mainland to the entrance with white Bentleys and Rolls Royces

It's not humane to let your servants drag all that pocketchange around for you, so why not let them rest in the shade and load it into some good old british luxury on wheels? :D :D :D :D

You would have to go JUST for the hotel. Its in UAE. Fly to the middle of nowhere to stay in a hotel?

To be very serious and dull here, the star ratings only goes to 5 stars, so the Burj Al Arab is a 5 star hotel, allthough it's named to be the only 7 star hotel in the wolrd because its not just a star better than all the other 5 star hotels in the world, it's 2 stars better... :hahahehe:
