Without a doubt......and if you are going to compare your modified A6 2.7 TT please compare it with a modified RS6. Hell a modified 1970 Chevy Nova could beat an RS6 in a 1/4 mile.

get 1 with descent miles 30-40k.. put a MTM or Revo chip-700-900
-rsko4 turbos, 5-7 (k) depends..
-2 new baileys BPV , 300
-oil cooler 500
-fmic liek 800
a total mx bout 9000 so just sayin rs6 stock performance for lots let..
and if ur good with the audi service manager you can get a good audi extended service plan and get the turbos covered if u can negotiate good..

so bout 30,000 for rs6 performance,..
minus the extras the rs6 has like front and rear parktronic
alloys , and all the koo stuff to liek the shifter on the sterringwheels

so i was just saying my point was not bad for the price right...
i mean thats all a RS6 is anyways a beefed up A6 with more aggressive gearin and stylin..

in basic simplicity there bout the same

and yes a chipped rs6 would roll out on me.. so..
Those bad ass RS6 owners that are not suspectging a 400 plus HP 2.7tt,, creepin for a challenge would be in reality check mode real quick,. thats all i was statin.,.

The car I sold when I bought the RS6 was an MTM Stage IV 2.7 T (RS4/KO4 turbos etc., etc., etc.) close to 400 hp. It was wicked fast but the stock RS6 is faster IMO. You are right though, lots of bang for the buck and even more stealth than the RS6.

Thats what I like about the 2.7tt....can get good power for relative few $$$. Very stealth as welll...which is nice to keep the man off you.

As for beefed up A6...yes thats what the RS6 is or M5 or E55 for that matter.

There are some nice thing about the RS6

Cosworth built motor
DRC suspension - great for street..track its ok
Eight pot Brembos with 14.5 rotors
Autobox IMO works very well...stick would be better though
Largely had made sport exhaust
Some aluminum body panals
VERY tunable- ECU mod gets you between 500hp to 520hp and 500 tq to 530 tq depending on tuner and what you believe from them.

i found from my experience that MTM is good Giac is alight but APR is up there.. right now i got REVO sinc ether ekinda new and preety aggressive chip i might add.

i cxan top out bout 170 plus now,.,.

good choice. REVO is incredible. did u get the sps3 unit? u should try to get a hold of the advance tuning kit. it's on their website. http://www.revotechnik.com/usa/usrevo.html by the way, that was my car from dubwars 2004 event =) Notice i removed the grills next to the fog and i actually removed the fog housing as well. MAX airflow~ if ur local by anychance, next year u should def come out. it was incredible.
