Okay RS6 USA Team! What are the plans? Are we planning on putting on some sort of RS6.com show on the <a href="http://www.waterfest.net/Pages/exhib.asp">Exhibition</a> area on Saturday or Sunday? It would be nice to do a small meet down there, even if it was just for a few hours. A nice number of cars, with all crazy different mods, or lack thereof, since the RS6 is so excellent in stock form.
Does the <a href="http://www.speedtechnik.com/">SpeedTechnik</a> team plan on doing anything? Let's hear some thoughts. We're running short on time here!
PS: I might have a new set of 19"s with some new Michelin Pilot Sport rubber shoes on!

Hey guys,
NYRS6 is correct, we are the drag race event sponsor for Waterfest 10. We will be bringing about 9 cars to this show and some new products that will be available later this year. Our tent will be about twice the size we had last year and needless to say we have been burning the midnight oil to get everything ready.
Speed Technik will be closed on July 14th and will re-open July 19th.
Hope to those of you that are in the area stop by our tent and see our latest creations.

From the Waterfest website, it looks like show parking lot is all sold out. I did not get tix for the show, as I figured some would be available once I got there.
Anyone know if there are other areas that once can park at?

There is parking outside the show area. I would call them and ask if there is anything avaliable there might be a spot. But dont worry there is parking. When you get there they might have a spot open

I plan to be there on Sat and Sun. I did not sign up for anything.
We should all look for each other, and park close together if possible. I'll be looking for all you fellas!

I am not going I wish I could but the guys from the tune shop in town here are going. They will be there probably with their S4 they bought from APR but who knows.
It is GMP if wnyone of you guys see them around tell them hey. I tried to get them to bring the beast but they are full.
I will be there Sunday morning. Hoping to bump into all of you. If anyone has any suggestions on how to find people from this board, please let me know. Happy to provide my cell phone #.

I just found out. There is parking for show, but youre car will not be in the contest. Also you have to come early when they open to get a spot. The show is sold out meaning that there are two sections one youre car is in a contest and the judge youre car and whoever wins gets prize money or something. Thats the main show parking area. The other section is just parking for show but it will not be in the contest. so if we all get there early we can park together. Also if that doesnt work we can all meet at speedtechniks booth. And there is cellphones of course.
How does that sound? Anybody palnning on drag racing?
They open 7:30 AM its early but if you want a spot you have to come early. There is unlimited parking out of the show area (as far as i know). Then you just have to pay as a spectator.

Thought that there was a poor audi turnout in general for the show, one time when I return to the car out in the exhibition parking saw only one other rs6 that manage to park next to me.

I went up on Saturaday and had a few runs with NYC-Qcar. The post is on audiworld. All and all a good time, my first on the strip. I did not load up the torque converter - not to sure about that part ( damage avoidance ). I did learn first hand that a chipped car beats a stock car every time. His GIAC sw was worth about 5 mph and a second in the 1/4 mile. More important for me I was able to hear the Milltek on the Speed Technic RS6 and placed my order today. Hope to have it on next week.
