S mode

hey guys,

audi claims that the 0-100kmh in an 2004 S4 is around 5 secs (doesnt matter for the question).. anyways, in the tiptronic model , did they measure that time in drive mode (D) or S mode?
and if they measured it in D mode.. how much faster is it in S mode?

basically, S mode keeps the revs going longer right?.. is it to try and similate the engine feel the closest they can like a manual?

I guess there is no different when you are running on full gas?

The difference will be VERY small, if any, when you floor it.

On track I usually get my best lap times when in D mode.
I guess it makes my driving style more "fluid" - less attack.

yeah my bro and i were at the dealer the other day and test drove the cabrio s4 with 4 people... anyways, when we used the S mode he said that it could better haul the 4 of us than if we used the D mode... i thought more power... and the engine sounded like it had some more note.

im a very very patient person.. but waiting for a facelifted S4 ... wow.. feels 4ever.
