Hello everyone,

There is a limitter in the TV in my new S4 that prevents looking at TV over about 5 km/h. I have been told from vag that you can remove that limitation but they will not tell me how. Can any of you tell me how to to or direct me to someone who can.

I might add that this is the new system not the Navi+

I only know that on an A8 those TV systems were connected to the handbrakesensor.
The new models are connected to the CAN bus

Maybe the new DVD navigation still has the same system as the GPS+TV... (I think it is)

Here is a link how to modify the GPS so you can watch tv while driving.

MTM will do that as well - about 90 Euro..

How do you like the DVD system? And is there somewhere info on where to get maps - I'm interested in EE (Czech, Slovak, Hungary, Poland)

Have you spoken to Skoda about maps? Their MMI competence person will know what is available. You know about the patchy CZ CD, which was actually more useful than expected when finding an address in Prag, but it doesn't know the village I stay in, of course.

PS I wonder if Alpine have anything usable.
