Found this picture of a RS4. It is quite nice, but somehow everytime I see a RS4 it reminds me of the Superstage competition where two RS4 came in behind my A6 2.7TQ Tiptronic...and they were using slicks and R-tires, me only P Zero.
And there's a video to prove it.

:D :D

In short it's a silver 2002 A6 2.7TQ Avant with tiptronic (because of the traffic) and a MTM chip, 312 bhp / 445 Nm.
Will tell you more later...

johneroberts, do you have any figures on the 0 - 200 km/h time chipped?

Dave, sorry to say but after you've raced a RS4 you would want to visit your nearest MTM dealer...can't believe they made the RS6 slower.

Bigger Car.. different criteria.. if they were hell bent on just speed they would have made it manual.... I've grown to like the tiptronic now.. must have become a lazy git :D

They are about level (RS4 just a tad quicker to 100) .. without mods of course.. but that doesn't dissapoint me.... I'm very happy with my lot...

There is ALWAYS something quicker out there...

Another nice RS4. Does anyone know how many RS4 there are in the US? It must be a very rare vehicle.

John, sounds like a lot of fun!
My main reason for switching brakes is the braking from 200 km/h and down to around 100.
How is your impression of the brakes?

The reason why I asked about 0 - 200 km/h is becasue RS4 on this forume just bought a Hohenester tuned RS4. It'll do it in less than 13 secs....hope to be able to prove it on video as soon as the winter tyres get off. :D

The RS6 does Hockenheim in 1.17,x driven by Sport Auto.

Just been looking in Evo Mag... standard figures:

RS2: 201bhp/ton
RS4 : 236bhp/ton
RS6 : 245bhp/ton

so not that much in it really

Dave, thanks for reminding me.
A friend who is usually right told me the RS4 was slower, but as I look at the figures the RS4 seems to to 0 - 200 in 19.x and I've seen figures of the RS6 doing sub 18 second runs.

So :addict: still goes but not always bye bye M5 :byeM5:
