I'm not too good with the imperial and metric systems, so I'm not sure how to work out a gallon over there...

We're paying 90 pence a litre of 95, which is the equivalent to 91 (?) in the states. There's approximately 1.7 US$ per £.

Petrol prices are fast becoming really gay in this country (UK). With fuel protest things coming up.. it's going to be like it was a few years ago... busses not running, no fuel in petrol stations... bah... not looking forward to it.. Stupid government and their tax.

Yeah -> prices for gas are really getting damn high --> here in Austiria between 0,97 and 1,1 € for one liter 95 ... really crazy!! (but prizes in Germany and Italy are still 10 € Cent higher :p )

-> but ... as a matter of fact ... our oil resevers for very long, ... so what's the future -> hybrid cars -> no real permanent solution ......... electric cars -> no V8 brumbling any more  ......... I'm very curious what future will bring!!!

We pay around AUS$1 a litre. People whinge a lot about the prices here, but it is equivalent too:

US$2.72 a gallon
0.59 Euro a litre
40 pence a litre

so really we cannot complain compared to Europe!!

I'm more annoyed about the price of coca-cola, AUS$1.5 for a 600ml bottle!! Now that's disgraceful :p

Ok, let's see.

1 liter 95 octane in Sweden costs about 10 SKR, that's $1,33 (USD) and about €1.09.

So one gallon, which is about four liters I think, would cost about $5.42 or €4.36.
