Well the very first impression was yesterday afternoon when 2 packages with Movit stickers allover arrived .
Nrn, you are very welcome over to my office for a look!

What can I say, they look very good.
Larger and heavier than I expected (I have no previous experience in brakes I must say).
322 x 32 mm sounds quite small when you see them on picture and you feel like you want bigger. Now with the brakes in my hand I almost feel the opposite, can I have them any smaller? :squared:
It's like - how on earth are these going to fit my 17"?
I am sure there will be no problem, waiting for a free spot in the calendar at http://www.kmtuning.com to get them fitted.

One more thing...

It's like ordering a pizza, and realising it's not only really big but also 32 mm thick :hihi:

Don't got them at home yet:argue:
Will still take some time. because I will get a "mix" of different parts...
new, and used( out of original paper...touched, but not used on a car...).
Due to my car (ultrarare) they want to check it perfectly...what will fit the best:0: , the dreamcombination..

but i've got time.....
wonder If my winterwheels will still fit.....
(as winterwheels I've got S2 wheels...)
......eh even these wheels only fit with an extra disc between the wheel and car...
original brake on a s6plus is allready quiet impressive....

succes with the mounting, Eric

I'm putting the Movits on on Monday.
If spacers etc. are not needed and everything goes as planned there will soon be an article about how it is doen.

Regarding price I hope to be able to put together some group buy in the future.

Erik...

I will wait for your story. As I don't got mine yet. I had to send some pictures of my current s6plus brakes to movit germany, so that they could make the right choise......

That's in my eyes a good thing.... They don't just want to send system that maybe won't fit

succes with your mounting:roll:

actually..... the french audi enthusiasts club is already making an arrangement for a group buy with a nice discount so what i was looking for was some public prices (and the model which is to be bought)

and some indications on the mounting.... :D

s6plus

if you go to the movit website....there you can find a list with almost every car on it.
thought that it was www.movit.de, otherwise use a search machine for a french sollution. there must be a french distribitor for sure.
Phone/mail them for some prices...There is also a scandinavian website. Just hit those brakes at the start of the website.
If you can buy them with a whole group, it's always great. especcialy the extra discount. But every car needs another specific brake system....or do you all have the same car???

PP-S3
January 26th, 2003, 21:57
well....
there's our friend MrBalsen....
and a few S3s and TTs i think

it seems that the brakes could be the same for S3 and S6plus as i've read ? (322x32)

the things is that there are several references for the same dimensions and i don't see where the differences can be....

and the site is lacking more pics of their models...

anyway thanks foe the link ! ;)

i like this one : :s3addict:

I will not put on my Movits tomorrow.
Schedule is too tight, had to cancel, but there will be a report ASAP. I don't like them laying in the office, they should be on the car!

Looking foward to your reply.. I do fancy Mov'it but at £7000 (Uk price) for fronts and rears, it's a costly job...

one I would have to balance against increases in performance
Cheers

Guys,
Thanks for your offers on price.. I have heard that there are much better prices in Europe.. I think the Uk dealer was having a laugh

What i might do is bring the car to Europe, have the breaks done and then they'll be VAt free, and just drive the car home :)

I am really keen to have them done.. where would you reccommend?

Of course somewhere in Germany....why not call movit direct. maybe they got a tip for you...
and besides germany is the best place to hit your pedal.
And you can vsit the Ring too....

:p , succes

There will be a group buy arranged via RS6.com on Movit brakes with quite nice prices - the more the better of course.

All those who are interested will get the possibility to choose their own unique system. Simply becasue my system will not fit your car etc. (logic!)

I recommend everyone with the slightest interest to start investigating what they are looking for.
Front only or rear also.
Size etc.

A visit to www.movit.de will give you loads of information online - check if your car is available and think about the size of your tyres etc.

In the case RS6.com makes any money out of this deal it will go directly to a new gallery where members can upload their images.

Have fun! :addict: :rs4addict :s4addict: :s3addict:
