Most brutal car must have been VS Motors e34 M5... dishing out in exess of 1.000 hp DIN, he passed the pits fully sideways in fourth (!) gear making all the right noises...

Unfortiunately, Quarnis seemd to have some minot problem with his brutal Porsche. Still a beauty tho!

Some nice cars turned up to the event, especially that modded E34 M5. :D

Do you have any more information on that car?

Thanks!

Well, not much actually.

The builder is Vegard Strand, made famous through building some redicolously powerfull Coswoth engines used to great effect by Ruud Racing. You could say Ruud pretty much singlehandedly introduced drifting to norway, yet the engines usually survived. No small feat pushing 300hp/litre...

This BMW has a 3.8 M5 six and the biggest turbo I've ever seen - and I've seen quite a few  Rumor has it that these 1034 real dynoed DIN hp are actually well on the safe side of what the engine was built to take, and that the target is to up the boost a fair bit and see if slicks will last down the quarter... we've all probably seen what SMR have achieved at these power levels..!

Unfortiunately, the R-tyres provided too much grip for the poor trans, so the input shaft snapped at the meet. But not before making some serious waves in the gatebil community :applause:
