But that's not quite what it says. It says that if you have a non-Audi chip AND it causes a problem, that problem will not be covered.

So -- if you install a chip and have a problem that could be blamed on it, like turbos, then, yeah, you have a warranty problem unless you can show that something besides the extra strain caused by the chip made the turbos blow. But if you install a chip and the power windows break, which have nothing to do with a performance chip, then you still should be covered.

Bottom line is about the same, tho: chips mean risk.
