Looks like a tuner out West is selling RS6 replica wheels from $995 to $1200 for a set of four, not including tires of course, depending on the size you want.

Here's the link to the post:
AchTuning Replica Setup (http://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1641871.phtml)

RS6 Replica Wheel
17x7.5 ET30 25lbs $225 each or $895/set
18x8.5 ET35 29lbs $250 each or $995/set *NEW OFFSET NOW FITS B5 TOO!
19x8 ET30 30lbs $287.50 each or $1150/set
19x9 ET35 31lbs $300 each or $1200/set
OEM Caps available seperately for $10 each (retail is $20 each)

At this cheap price, I'm so tempted. Heck, even if they are just replicas, they still might look good, as just another set of wheels. After all, fixing a set of HREs takes about 3 weeks at the very least, so it's good to have another cool set just in case.

They plan to have Nuvolari replicas in the near future as well.

But what I really want is LeMans Quattro replicas. Now we're talking!!!

I am thinking that it's most definitely a good purchase.
I am thinking of the 19x9 set as well. Are they as concave as the stock ones, or is center flush with outter edge of the rim?

I'm sure they fill those arches quite nicely!!!

I really like our 12-spoke 18" rims, but it can be such a pain to clean them up. Lots of little things to get cleaned, and your fingers hurt. Here's a pic of the 19 vs 18 look!

Nene,

Honestly I like the 18" design better, but that is just me.
The 19"s look really nice on my brothers 01 S8 esp. since it has been lowered, but...... very easy wheels to get damaged, not even 2k miles on them and right front one is bent. And he doesnt even drive ot every day and he is very careful with potholes, (well I guess not that careful obviously, LOL)
To my naked eye they look like a real good replica, give me a couple of days and I will photograph the ones I bought and you decide if you still want the guys number I will give it to you.
And yes keeping them clean is a pain, I have to make sure every spoke is cleaned throughly because I dont want brake pad residue digging in.

I have 18" 5-spoke RS 6 replicas on my car now, purchased from a Discount Tire store near you, Bajors, in Glendale Heights. They procured them from AAA Rims in Holland, Michigan.

I'm quite pleased with the quality so far, and they came with REALLY nice Audi-logoed center caps included.

The rims themselves were $699. With tires, road-force balanced and mounted, the whole setup was about $1350.

Details, including close up photos of both the inside and outside of the wheels, plus photos of them on my car:

If they get bent so easily, maybe I'll pass for sure.
If you ever get a hold of some pix, send them to me :)
