This weekend I went to the F-1 at Barcelona and got to see this awesome car, the new SLR.
Also saw the new SLK 55 AMG Safety Car (incredile sound).

I went to a golf tournament this weekend and Mercedes was the official car. They had a Maybach driven by the champion from last year but just for the weekend. On display they had the new SLK and Erik I agree it is a nice looking ride the did a exceptional redesign if you ask me. It has that sort of SLR look to it. SLK 55 would be a nice conv. to have. IMOP

Actually I saw a couple of young guys wearing kind of professional driver suit with gumball printings on it but not any car.
I also saw a black-golden Maybach ( no Pictures).
Erik, I have a video of the SLR sound which could be interesting and alsoa really nice one of the McLrens stuff changing wheels from upside. But I donŽt now how to post it, if you want sent me a message and IŽll sent you the videos byu e-mail.

One Black SLR, here, please!
As for the SLK, the pictures don't look too great. I'm not at all keen on the styling of the car.
The SLK55 safety car most definitely has a fettled exhaust/engine. The sound is bar to none. :bigeyes:

The SLR is absolutelly beautyfull, however the SLK standard or AMG just doesn't convince me, I guess that the desing is just too radical for me, besides I would say that it just doesn't go with the traditional Mercedes-Benz desing.Wouldn't mind if my father game one though :incar:
