Murciélago is faster (slightly) than the Saleen S7.

The family car RS6 is faster than a ´99 Ferrari 355. Where will it end?

the Murcielago is faster than a Gallardo
the Gallardo is faster than a 911 Turbo

how come in this test, the 911 Turbo is faster is than a Murcielago??????

as this is in a straight line, and brakes are only being used once per run, it can't be brake fade or handling, perhaps the test driver is challenged by the driving experience!!!

as usual it will boil down to one factor - tyres, a set of slicks will help you achieve astonishing retardation.

The good thing about living at 1750m elevation (5250ft) is that most of the normally aspirated cars on the list are actually slower than the RS6 :)

Of course at sea level where 95% of the world population (where RS6's can fe found) it as per the article.

Where will it end? Who knows? The sports cars are being seriously challenged by sedans. If the new M5 really does 0-200 km/h in 13.6 than this is something the Ferrari's and the like will have to think about..... and the M6 will be even faster!
