winning bid $65000 :( Is this Normal? Also consider that it has almost 10k miles. Oh well. Hope it wont go down more.

Note: this guy so far has a 100 % postive feedback so far so he probably sold it for that or else the winning bidder would have reported him.

I looked at buying the car, it was owned by a rental/leasing company from 4000-10000 miles.

It could have been used as a rental.

An RS6 available for rent would be unusual but not impossible. Independent companies in some larger markets (e.g. LA and Miami) offer exotic cars for rent at exotic prices. Brands I recall from research a couple of years ago include Ferrari, Porsche, Benz and BMW.

Prices were upwards of $1500 a week or more at the low end, if I recall correctly, much of it no doubt for insurance. So while it's true that Hertz, Avis et al would not rent the likes of an RS6, some indies might in markets where impressing people is a bigger deal than elsewhere.

Looks like the market for a 'new' (32 miles) RS6 (Ebony / Black) with 19" Replicas is about $79K in Sth Florida (2 weeks of negotiating). I'd say these machines are holding their value pretty well given my 03 C4S with 2500 miles is worth about $75K on the trade (thats about $15K depreciation from MSRP). My belief is these cars will hold value quite well in the longer term. 25% of these cars will end up in a metal yard because 25% of us (the royal us) will 'total' them in our misguided guest to be the ultimate street racer. 50% of these cars will be driven as Audi's dempgraphic suggests (to and from work with some weekend miles ... pushing the car every now and then when the honda cheez rocket keeps tailgating). 25% of these cars will bet traded from one owner to another because we can't afford the payments (this is what you see on eBay). Eventually these cars end up South Africa somewhere. So my guess is in 5 years there are 600 well maintained RS6s in NA and I will own one.

OT ... my dealer actually said he would (at some point) install a complete OC.T upgrade (575 hp with 515 ft#) for $7900 ... and he would take care of warranty out of the dealership if ANA doesn't stand up. Pretty sweet deal I thinks. Any thoughts ... too good to be true ?

If you are talking about a LOADED rs6, then you are 4-5k over market. If you are talking about a NO OPTIONS rs6, then you are 8k over market.
Get one of the many still sitting in the sun in the north east, and flat bed it down to you.

Sounds expensive. Talk to Brian @ www.speedtechnik.com

But the warranty promise sounds good -- if that is true...
