Question for fine ears on the list.
Bose in my Avant does not have the bass response (Phatbox or CD - no difference) I'd expect and it is not as good as old S6 Avant.
With bass set to max (+6) it is ok when parked, idle and up to about 40 mph. With more noise in cabin the system compensates for that alright except the bass which is pretty much out by the time we hit 100.
I tried several different CDs (same CD in Phatbox and CD player) with pretty much same result. Phatnoise manager does not allow (at least I did not find it) to boost bass by 3 or more dB.
Is there any other setting to set the loudness (if such setting is in the system) higher?
