One of the worlds greatest champagne sommeliers, Richard Juhlin, knight of Champagne recommend you a bottle of La Grande Dame for New Years Eve - but should you follow his advice, don't drink it at midnight, drink it to dinner since he thinks it's a waste of fine champagne to drink it when you are drunk. :)

But are you only up to putting something nice in your wine cellar - buy a bottle of Billecart-Salmon from 1959, the worlds most expensive champagne with a price tag of approximately 15 000 €.

And last - the connoisseurs own choice - a bottle of Krug from 1938. The champagne he thinks is the greatest he has ever drunk.

Think I'll go for a Bollinger RD instead... :)

I wish you all a Happy New Year from a cold Stockholm
