Scary yet very interesting read. A part of history that I do not vividly remember but this is a different look at it. Very sad...

Funny thing, Klint is faster than the reporters of one of Swedens biggest newspapers. They made a story about her and her site a couple of days after Klint posted that link. :cool2:

this is really sad - and if you want to see the same devastation without nuke accident come to Czech - there is former Soviet military zone north of Prague and looks the same - the only difference being (because the russians had few weeks before they left in 1990) that they took everything with them, incluiding toilets, sinks, heating radiators, even railing ....
nothing but building skeletons left

Very sad, but unfortunately, few people know about this, especially in this area.
I hope to visit around that area when I visit the place where I was born, Odessa.
