Thanks for those pictures, Erik!

A couple points about the car's styling.

First, the side profile resembles a mix of both the new 6 series and a 350Z, if the new M6 has the ///M trademark gill behind the front wheel then it'll resemble the 6 series even more or vice versa.

Secondly, the front looks a little like the Shelby Coupe of the late 90s, I've forgotten the full title of the car but it was to celebrate an anniversary of Shelby's.

Still, the looks are sensational! A worthy successor to the DB7 for sure. I also like the idea of a manual box on offer too....:D

Glad to hear that Linn were again involved in the audio department, I believe the Linn system is an option, one that I would definitely take up.

Since this has 450bhp, Aston decided to give the Vanquish an upgrade in the power department, with 510 bhp, from 460 although Aston unofficially offer power upgrades on this V12 ;).

Aston Martin has had the little side 'gill' since before BMW's M Division was even thought of.

The front, as you are not aware, is a direct tribute to some of the Zagoto bodied Astons of the 60s and 70s.

There are a lot of people in the IOM who subscribe to that green covered automotive journal - Motor Sport - I suggest you borrow a stack of old ones , read thorough them and give Maxim or The Lad a rest for a few weeks! Much beeter for you too.
