The misano red RS6 Avant featured in the article "RS6.com goes for software tuning on the RS6"
(http://www.rs6.com/articles/008.html) has undergone more modifications.

This was a 2 stage modification, and stage 1 was reported here. (http://www.rs6.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3348&highlight=interior)

What do you say? I really like the modifications done to the panel. :thumb:

"By ordering 3 sq. m of the high tech leather and putting it in places it should have belonged in the first place (Audi take note!) it was possible to upgrade the interior of this RS6."

This is an old thread.

Have any one done anything (remotely) the same?

Where did you get the high tech leather?

From Audi / quattro GmbH.

It's the same as the original material.

I purchased a set of Oliver's mats, and they are NOT Audi factory goods. Moreover, the pictures used in his auctions are not pictures of the actual goods. Worse, the goods that arrive are not the same as the factory mats.

For example, the mats he sent to me do not have the anchor receptacles. Thus, they "float" around in the footwell. Second, they are not embroidered. They are patches that are sewn on to the mat. Third, they're not even sewn on in correct alignment. Fourth, the mats are thin and, IMO, cheap.

If you think you're buying factory mats and expect them, you'll be disappointed. Reading his ebay ads, I was under the impression that I would get factory mats. In this case, you get what you pay for. In my case, I'll just throw them in the trunk when I sell the car so they can go along with.
