I am in the middle of removing the ECU in my RS6 to chip the car and I can't find any instructions for removing the TCU which needs to modified as well. Does anyone happen to know where the TCU is in the car?

I assume that by TCU you actually mean ECU. I had my ECU, which Audi calls the ECM in this car ("engine control module"), replaced under warranty at dealer. So I asked tech to show me where it is, which is basically just forward of the firewall from the steering wheel (US). You can't see it by merely opening the hood, though; the plastic cover below the windshield & under the hood must be removed.
My ECM box was open when I saw it in the shop, so I don't know what it looks like when the box is closed. But FYI I heard or read somewhere that it has security bolts designed to alert Audi if anyone messes with it.
